Scrolling through portfolio items

Hi there,

I have added a bunch of projects in my portfolio divided into 4 categories. I have displayed each category on a separate page (using the Portfolio element in Visual Composer) and then I have another page which displays all of the projects together.

When I open a project on a particular category page it has pagination enabled (which I want) but if I click on the arrows it takes me to the next project in the order that I uploaded them, not the next one in the category on that page. I don’t want to have to go through and change the dates and/or times that the projects were uploaded to make the projects in the same category scroll from one to another because more will be added over time and it is a very practical solution. Anything else I can do?
