googlemaps – google API

I’m trying to created a googlemap in the wordpress, but I can’t.

I created an API, but I dont know how to insert in the page or in the code.

This is the script that I add in the begining on the html code of the page:
“<script async defer src=”https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?key= AIzaSyBxhpxd74kPACYxE5NGa_pu3OmjUbhQXsQ&callback=initMap” type=”text/javascript”></script>”
But it doesn’t work…

Please tell me the steps that I have to follow to created an googlemaps.
