Process for updating Slider Revolution and WPBakery VC

Hello,

Supporting this theme on behalf of a client and getting a feel for how to update bundled plugins.

1) Revolution Slider

…I’ve downloaded the RS plugin ZIP. Is it advised to de-activate and re-upload the plugin or MANUALLY FTP up the files and overwrite all?

2) Is there any chance of making plugin updates easier in future? Most themes I work with have better integration to update whether via the Envato plugin or other means. Aware it takes time and effort your side!

3) We have support access until May. It’s fine we won’t be able to ask for support but can we still access these plugin updates via the forum and download updates?
