Need to make the blog posts as wide as a regular page / portfolio item

I would like to make the blog posts 100% full width (in a similar vein to the pages & portfolio items).

By using the “.post-icon.standard {display: none;}”, I’ve been able to remove the pencil but, at this point, I need to go full width as well.

Please let me know what would be the CSS snippet needed for this.
