Mailchimp's popup form

Hello,

I’m trying to add Mailchimp’s popup form to my site. It’s a bit of html to add, but I’m not sure where to add it. I tried adding it a footer widget, cleared my cache, and it rendered the bottom half of the page mostly blank. Is there another place I should try to add the code?
