Header-v5.php issue

Hi,
I have edited my header-v5.php and have uploaded to my file manager. It appears correct when I check this file within the manager. For some reason it is not updating on my actual site. I have Header 5 selected in my theme options so there should be that connection but things are not updating oh the site. Would this issue be due to a theme update that hasn’t been applied?
