Full Screen Slider too big in combination with header

Hi,
thank you for the wonderful theme!
I am trying to use the slider-only home page with no extra content, i.e. the slider should be the only visible element.
However when I am using headers in combination with this, the slider goes down the height of the header, and so needs scrolling to get in full view.
I don’t seem to find a combination of settings to circumvent this. Could you help me?
