Font not loading and Multiple Versions of theme installed

For some reason I could not get the Oswald font to display and had to hard-code a link to it in the header. Please advise.

Also, I have 2 versions of the theme installed in WordPress, the current version and an older version with the folder renamed inovado-old. I wanted to know if this causes any conflict and if it should be removed manually (FTP) or via the WordPress admin.
