Featured images not showing up in link post on social media

Hi all,

Whenever I post a link to social media, or even put it in the post box for a preview, my featured image isn’t showing up. Should I add a photo somewhere else for this to work?

Example from FB (https://imgur.com/WTugFvL), but I first noticed on LinkedIn, so it has nothing to do with the debugger.
