Unfortunately your suggestion has not worked:

Open search.php (from the theme folder) and replace lines 41-43 with: http://snippi.com/s/anvd043

I have replaced the code as you have asked, however this has in fact made things worst, I now see the following http://snippi.com/s/t23m33s result.

I have undone the code you suggested.
