Blog Template; Header Highlight Issues

Hi,

I love the template–it’s great. I’ve two issues, please:
1. When in Blogs (http://imgur.com/cM7L3kk), clicking on one of the links, the individual article’s image is halfway down the page (http://imgur.com/EJXnLhI). How do I top-align images?

2. The header on a certain page (http://imgur.com/dI8PvKJ) is highlighted for the both the actual page and another page. How can I correct this?
